What is Direct Mail? Direct Mail is when you get a letter Postcard or some other mail piece in your mail box and it has your name on it. The point of Direct Mail is to try and sell you something, promote a product, build branding or any other reason you would want to sell an idea. Direct Mail can come in many forms and sizes. It can range from a postcard to a full size envelope, even be as large a a legal notepad. You can also get direct mail in your news paper or some other magazine stuffing. Many of the Direct Mail list out there actually use List from News papaers or Magazine subscription Companies. Think about it. They are already sending you something why not send you somethign else why they are at it. Direct mail can be ither cheap or expensive depending on the mailing.
